Up for your consideration is a Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Berry Bake Shoppe produced in 1980 by Kenner toys. The set is only missing the sponge that makes the berries \'grow\'. While washing and disinfecting this toy with Lysol, the old sponge crumbled apart. You can substitute the sponge, found at any craft or grocery store, easily by inserting a replacement through the bottom of the toy. (See photo #10) The oven still has the baking rack which is fairly rare. When closed it’s a berry pretty carrying case for Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Open, it’s a bakery complete with strawberries that “grow”, an oven that opens, a mixing bowl, pot, and pretend pies. It even has a stand to sell the delicious looking pretend pies and strawberries! =) There are garden accessories for growing pretend berries which include a watering can, shovel, rake and basket. When closed the toy measures 12.5 x 12 x 6\". Please look at the pictures closely as they are the best description. The product booklet and Thank You post card are included.
