Often, the actual object was too big or heavy to carry door to door or community to community, by wagon, so companies made duplicates of their products in smaller sizes. These became known as salesman\'s samples, which are much rarer and frequently very collectible. This new item pays homage to those days by being a small blanket chest, designed just like the traditional ones. Today, this little cutie could easily hold your collection of small vintage linens, jewelry, sewing goods...the storage and display options are endless!
It measures 7 by 12 1/2 by 7 inches and is made from wood with metal hinges and lock.
