Disney\'s Pinocchio!Fresh attic find!
A super cute battery operated Pinocchio Zylophone player by Rosko Tested Toy Mfg., Tin with rubber head and cloth covered body and hair. This is the same genre as the stop motion animation Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Santa Claus, etc. This toy operates with 2 D cell batteries however, this toy needs to be opened up and checked as it does not play. Online the tune it should play is \"London Bridge\" Battery contacts are clean. Also, the zylophone has rubber tabs which holds the metal reeds. They a hard and some have broken off which I have, a few are missing. Also one hair strand is missing in back which should be a easy repair. A great piece for the shelf now or a great candidate for the workbench!
A great Christmas project and I believe the only one on . The New Adventures of Pinocchio is an animated stop motion television series produced by Rankin-Bass in the United States and made by Dentsu Studios in Japan.[1] Syndicated from 1960–61; 130 five-minute \"chapters\" were produced. These segments made up a series of five-chapter, 25-minute episodes.[2]The series was also aired on Fuji TV in Japan in 1963.
Best Regards,
Bob
