Vintage TRIFARI 1930s KTF Bracelet~A.Philippe~ART DECO~Early~Krussman & Fishel

From the 1930s, this early Trifari bracelet has the look of \"real\" jewelry and a quintessential Art Deco design that epitomizes the geometric elegance that was then the rage. It boastsopen work and fancy-cut stones: baguettes andnavettesaccented byround rhinestones, creating geometric patterns. It is easy to see why Trifari pieces with the \"KTF\" mark are so sought after. This well made bracelet is not just beautiful, it is a piece of history. Trifari, Krussman and Fishel were partners in the firm, Trifari, from its early days in the 1920s and were joined by designer Alfred Philippe in 1930.

The bracelet is about 3/8\" wide by over 7\" long by 1/4\" deep. It has a secure foldover clasp surmounted by a baguette and chaton, soitis\"hidden\" and the design, with baguettes linking the panels, isunbroken. Each panel is fully articulated for maximum flexibility and movement and is slightly concave to conform to the contours of your armso the bracelet lays beautifully on the wrist.

It bears the early signature, \"KTF.\" with the elongated arms of the \"T\" extending over the other two letters. The number \"20\" also appears on the back. (The penultimate photo is of the backwith a close-up of the signature but the number is not pictured, as I did not notice it until just now.) I note a similar bracelet picturedon page 68 ofBrunialti\'s American Costume Jewelry Art & Industry, 1935-1950. It is signed \"KTF. 41\" and while they date the bracelet to1935, as it was not patented, they give the designer as \"Alfred Philippe?\".

The bracelet is in Very Good vintage condition, especially considering its age, with some flaking of the silver-tone finish, mostlyon the back, and expected dimming of the stones, which are all there and appear to be original. It has a beautiful vintage sparkle.

According to the book Jewels of Fantasy, the \"KTF\" trademark \"is one of the most sought after because it appears on costume jewelry of particularly high-quality materials made to a high standard of production.\"

What\'s more, this gorgeous authentic Art Deco period bracelet is easy to wear and will go with everything. Elegant and sophisticated, with the look of fine jewelry, it will make all your gestures more beautiful. A fabulous example of early Trifari KTF jewelry for your collection!
