Interesting Mid Century Modern pottery lamp from Italy in a soft green with incised lines both horizontal and vertical. The lamp is in good condition, and works (has a 3 way light switch). I removed the painted metal base to look for markings and have photographed them. The lamp is marked \"4850\" (and a squiggle) and \"Base Made in Italy\"Size: The lamp is about 37.5\" to top of finial, and 30\" to top of socket. About 7\" wide at its widest point, and the base is 6\" across. It weighs approximately 9 lbs.Condition: Lamp is in excellent vintage condition with a few specs of paint loss to metal base, and one area at very top of ceramic where there is a very shallow glaze flake or scrape. See pics for both. Neither detract in the least, but mentioned for accuracy. It has not been rewired, and as with all vintage lighting, it might be a good idea to have it checked out by a knowledgeable person. Cord and plug both look fine.
