This metal detector came out of an estate sale, and I do not know its history, but when I put 8 AA batteries (not included) in it, it did not work. The unit looks complete, but the battery holder had tape around it and when I place back it in the detector box it made one sound and no more. I tested the 8” coil on another Tesoro unit and it worked fine. The metal detector is offered “AS IS” for parts or restoration. It has its operator instruction manual. PayPal only, because of ’s payment policy.

I try to maintain the highest level of buyer satisfaction with all my transactions, but I can’t do a thing, if I don’t know a problem exists.
