Offered this beautiful THORENS musical movement music box with 12 metal Discs!It is manufactured in Switzerland by the Thorens company.
The music box plays 4.5\" discs.
The wood box measures approx:
7 1/2\" by 5 1/2\" and 3 3/4\" high3The wood has very light scratches, with a touch of wear on the top lid.
It is stamped Made In Switzerland, in black ink, on the bottom.
Circa: 1950\'sThe mechanism plays well, all teeth are in good condition on the comb,
and the key wound motor runs smooth and strong through the disc.
The mechanism has an auto stop feature, once the lever is switched to off,
when it reaches the end of the disc the motor stops.
The original boxes and instruction sheet are included.
