Vintage Three Piece Mexican Sterling Silver Coffee or Tea Service 1873 grams circa 1940’s

This beautiful Vintage Three piece Sterling Silver Coffee or Tea Service includes melon shaped pot with hinged lid, creamer, and lidded sugar container. All three pieces of the set are marked on the bottom with the words “Sterling Silver Mexico” forming a triangle around the letters “LYS”. The lidded pot measures 9.5 inches high and 10.25 inches from spout to handle, 5 inches wide, the creamer 6 inches high, 5.5 inches long, 3.25 wide, the sugar bowl measures 5.5 inches tall, 6.5 inches long, and 4 inches wide. The three piece set has a total weight of 1,873 grams. There is one small, barely noticeable, ding in the coffee pot on the upper section to the right of the handle. (See photos) Given some light scratches and the mentioned ding this coffee service is in very good vintage condition. (See photos)
