Vintage Tinplate & Celluloid Clockwork Acrobat Toysx 2, Japan & Russia. A lot of 2 vintage tinplate and celluloid wind-up Acrobat toys, both with celluloid body of the acrobats on a metal frame, one made in Japan (1940’s) and the other probably in Russia in the 1950’s or 60’s.When wound up, the acrobats perform acrobaticmanoeuvres on the bars, spinning around andrepeating these actions until the clockwork mechanism has wound down. However, bothof them need some adjustment to make the full range of movements.Measuring 6.5 inches tall, the Japanese toy is in fair to good condition with some damage (dents) to the celluloidfigure. The Russian toy is 9 inches tall and in very good condition with little damage. The Japanese toy is marked with the symbol (letter A in a circle) and “Japan” on the back of the figure. The Russian toyis marked in Russian on the top of the wind-upmechanism. No boxes included.Please see the other vintage toys I have listed. Vintage Tinplate & Celluloid Clockwork Acrobat Toys
x 2, Japan & Russia.

A lot of 2 vintage tinplate and celluloid wind-up Acrobat
toys, both with celluloid body of the acrobats on a metal
frame, one made in Japan (1940’s) and the other
probably in Russia in the 1950’s or 60’s.

When wound up, the acrobats perform acrobatic
manoeuvres on the bars, spinning around and
repeating these actions until the clockwork
mechanism has wound down. However, both
of them need some adjustment to make the
full range of movements.

Measuring 6.5 inches tall, the Japanese toy is in fair to
good condition with some damage (dents) to the celluloid
figure. The Russian toy is 9 inches tall and in very good
condition with little damage. The Japanese toy is
marked with the symbol (letter A in a circle) and
“Japan” on the back of the figure. The Russian toy
is marked in Russian on the top of the wind-up
mechanism. No boxes included.
