An early and very unique George Washington Cut Plug used for storing and displaying Tobacco in the old country or general stores. This is an original George Washington Cut Plug from 1910. Manufactured by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. The lid displays decorative text in red, silver and blue \"George Washington Greatest American Cut Plug, Manufactured only by R. J Reynolds Tobacco Co., Winston-Salem, N.C.\" The sides display \"Smoke Chew • Cut Plug.\" on the front, back and left side and \"George Washington\" on the right side.This tin is in good vintage condition handle, and clasp are missing. The litho on the tin is good with some scuffing, some patina on inside and bottom, and no rust. The tin is really beautiful and the illustrated image of George Washington is good. Size is 6\" x 3-1/2\" and 3-1/8\" high.
