Judging from the size, I would say this would be considered a milk pitcher. The colors are great. Awesome black hat, blue suit with yellow details, black shoes. He has a very expressive face and is holding the requisite beer or ale mug in his hand. This is in very good condition with fine crackling that assures you it has good age. There is some missing glaze on his suit coat, but nothing really offensive. You should be able to see this in the photo of that side. There is also one small glaze pop on the side of his face. Some of the glaze has a rough feel. This is marked England on the bottom. The pitcher measures approximately 6 1/2\" tall. Very cute!!!
