Vintage TRAXXAS NItro Rustler 2.5 upgraded w/2.4 radio and servos & more..Up for your consideration is a previously enjoyed but nicely preserved Traxxas Nitro Rustler. As the pictures are a part of the description please look at them closely. The pictures will give an accurate description of the items. The kit comes with everything you see in the photos. This is an early version with the 2.5 engine.Over all the kit is in great condition for its age and shows ware and tare accordingly. Ithas been upgraded/updated with a Traxxas 2.4g receiver and two traxxas 2075 waterproof servos. Receiver,and Servos are tested and work as they should. The original Rustler did not come with a \'receiver box\' so I added a modern \'watertight\' receiver box for the new 2.4g radio gear. I also replaced the rear A-arms with RPM aftermarket pieces. I upgraded all the hinge pins and also upgraded to Traxxas CVA axles. Only need to bind it to a Traxxas 2.4g Transmitter and it will be ready to go. I bought this in a lot a few years ago and did a very thorough breakdown and clean job when I got it. At that time I upgraded a few items and put it all back together. I tested everything. I ran a single tank of fuel to test and tune the engine then drained the left over fuel and \'shelved\' the kit. I made a custom and very clean wiring harness for the EZ-start. The EZ-Start functions well and the one way bearing is in good condition but does not come with the \'EZ-Start\' hand held battery box. You will also need the \'glow\' plug wire as I use a separate \'glow igniter\' if you want to use that function. I removed/misplaced the plug wire lead so will need replaced. Otherwise the kit is be complete and ready to run just add bind to Transmitter. I don\'t use it and would like to see it go to a good home.This would make a great runner or possibly a ‘shelfie’. Either way this rare kit would be a great addition for a Traxxas collector or to any RC collection. This is for used items and due to the age and nature of the hobby, this is an \'As Is\' listing.
