Up for sale is a U.S. Air Force pilot\'s hat, size 7 3/8.
This is a first time listing as it was just discovered in a box.
This cap is in excellent condition.
The hat shows no wear.
The hat shows that it was made by the Ace Manufacturing Co of San Antonio TX.
It was sold under the registered trademark \"Flight Ace\".
The inside of hat band looks spotless / pristine. The slot/pocketfor identification looks perfect. The circular stiff mesh form inside the hat that keepsits shape looks perfect. Never crushed, sat on, damaged.
Outside material shows no wear / fraying.
The visor shows the begining of crackling from age and not wear.
Ribbons are perfect and they show no wear or any loss of color.
For all intents and purposes the hat could be considered new without tags,
however, since I cannot prove that it was never worn, I must advertise it as used.
This is a great addition to anyones military collection.
