This sale is for an original Vintage United States Department of Justice Federal Prison Hat with Badge.You may see the badges here on from time to time, but rarely do you see the original hat and badge combination.This hat is in very good used condition. There are NO tears, repairs or damages. The hat is a size 7 and has the the label from G&G Co. in the top.
This hat was my Fathers who worked at Marion Federal Prison in Marion, IL. Marion was the replacement for Alcatraz and was the most secure prison in the US at the time. My dad began working there approximately 1964, 1 year after the prison opened. He was issued this hat when he started. This is the best addition to any serious DOJ BOP collection!With a LOW starting price have fun and enjoy offerding!
