Vintage Venetian Amber Glass Liqueur Decanter & 6 Glasses - Hand Painted - VGC:

On offer is this fabulous, hand painted, vintage amber to clear Italian liqueur decanter and glass set.With graduated colour onthe bowls of the glasses and decanter, the decanter has been hand painted with a Venice scene in a central cartouche, either side a cupid and garlands of flowers. Floral garlands decorate the shot glasses.
Original clear blown stopper.No makers marks.Decanter stands 26.8cm to the top of the decanter, 33cm with the stopper in. The liqueur glassesstand 7.5cm tall,opening diameter of 4cm.In good condition - no chips, cracks or repairs.There looks to be a crack on the base of the decanter but it is a manufacture fault (mentioned for completeness). A little bitof rub to the solid banding around the rim of the decanter consistent with handling/use and age.
