This dress is GORGEOUS but needs a little TLC and customizing. First the measurements:
The train is approx 30\' long from very top to bottom. It is also about 12.5\' wide at the bottom and 16\" across at the top. It does have a small stain on it (about 2x4\") but if it doesn\'t come out you have a GREAT base for customizing it. You could shorten it some and not be able to see it. I think it is all satin - it looks and feels kind of like a parachute. Extra layers on the edges where it is folded over. I believe it may be handmade and may not have originally come with the dress. It matches it, but has a snap at the top, and there is no snap on the dress.
The dress doesn\'t have a size listed. It is shown on a 34-26-36 model and is a bit small. I tried it on to get a better idea of the size. Bust and waist are PERFECT for me and I\'m a 32A (but it could fit a little more up top, like maybe a medium to large B. Waist is about a 26. Under the ribcage where the bottom of your bra goes is also 32. I\'m actually a 30 but it\'s a comfy slightly snug fit. It really fits me like a glove. Sleeves are 18\" from underarm to hem.
Now for the flaws...
I really used a steamer on it but the satin is so thick that it just needs to be dry cleaned.
The bottom edges of the dress are grubby in some spots and need cleaning
There is a part of the applique on the front that literally just needs a few stitches
Buttons on the sleeves are missing. Mot sure why they would all be missing. Maybe removed for another project?
Back needs to be restitched. The satin to the lining
This dress would be GORGEOUS if someone takes the outdated shoulder thing off - which is luckily only sewn on with a few single stitches so a couple snips and it\'s like it was never there.
I\'m unsure about the enormous train. It already has a short train, so I don\'t know if the long one is pinned over or under the dress. Or even if it was originally to go with it.PLEASE feel free to email with questions. I have more photos of it but only will allow 12. While I will accept returns on this, I\'d prefer not to, so ask anything you\'d like before purchasing!
