Made of wood and hammered tin with nite light in the front behind angel. Can be hung up or stand up,comes with built in cord to plug in. Nicely detailed tin icon of The Mother Virgin mary holding the child Jesus.I believe this may be / could be / a representation of Our Mother of Perpetual Help,or another version of that representation,although no angels appear on either side of Mary\'s head nor does Jesus have one sandal on and the other hanging off his right foot,as The Perpetual Help icon is depicted,the icon appears with Jesus having bare feet.Anyway,Perpetual Help icon or not,it still depicts The Blessed VirginMaryholding the child Jesus.A very old piece,some natural age on the surface of the wood on the top of the base.Tin icons are nailed on with small nails.An old and cute shrine that lights up.Uses a regular size nite lite bulb (one in the pics,an orange one,included).Measures 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 2/4.
