Absolutely gorgeous 1940 - 1950s box purse from Wilardy.
This is the best known name in Lucite purses. Stamped \"Wilardy\" on the inside hinge.Gray marble Lucite with pearlized finish. The purse box is 8-3/4\" wide, 4-1/2\" deep, and 6\" tall. Handle drop is 5\"
Large filigree flower clasp with pearl center is 2.25\" in diameter, with a bottom flare outward to allow finger pull to open.All hardware is intact.
There are some scratches from use.
The only significant defect is a hairline crack on the back, top left, starting at the screw.
And there is 2 marks on the inside. See last photo.
The original mirror is attached inside. There is no damage or defects.
