Vintage Wagner Ware 1402 hinged double cast iron skillet set. Top skillet acts as a lid for deep skillet but can be used alone. Note the patent numbers shown on the bottom of the chicken fryer, or deep skillet. One was applied for in 1925 (the ridge around the inner lip of the lid to hold in vapor) and the other in 1935. Please review the photographs for appearance and conition. The bottom of the deep skillet is actually a little darker than it appears in the photos. There is some patina but not as much as it appears in the photos. There is some wobble on a flat surface with both pieces. The main skillet is 3 inches deep and 10 inches in diameter (excluding the spouts). The lid skillet is 1 1/2 inches deep and 10 inches in diameter (without the spouts). Lid fits well.
