True antique rug. Picked it from a estate of a woman that passed and she held on to everything that was her mothers. You can see the weave and each piece is its own color dye and not just painted on my some. It has 2 holes on one side shown in photo. Framedyou could hide it, using at a rug a piece of furniture could hide the edge. Or if you have the knowledge to repair the holes or bend them up even better. Rug measurements are 24 inches wide 43 inches long not including fringe. Fringe length is 2 1/2 inches long. What you see is what you get. No odors of any kind . Please ask Questions. I do not know what the material is. Its soft, feels similar to velvet butthe ply isn\'t the same.
