Made primarily of glass, this stopper fits a regular size bottle of wine, with a sterling silver top marked clearly\"Wallace Sterling 4640\". In excellent vintage condition, the glass is chip and crack free and the silver ding and dent free. The stopper could be used for an oil container or anyliquorbottle as the stopper measures over 1/2\"at the bottom and 1 2/3\" across the top. Great vintage piece that isgift ready!
