Description
This veryattractive vintage Wedgwood blueJasperware Cup and Saucer have the Wedgwood mark on the base with "Made in England". I am not sure of the exact date but think it is early 20th Century. There is an impressed "E" and "x" on the base of the Saucer and an incised "P "and what looks liked "I" but could be a badly impressed "E" on the base of the Cup. The Cup and Saucer are decoratedwith white applied decoration of classical figures, the Cup has a moulded rope twist handle. The Cup is in good condition apart from some lightspeckling from use on the inside, there has been a repair to a chip on the rim of the saucer, please see photos.
