Vintage West Germany Bobble Nodder Dog Dachshund? Herwi:

For your consideration is a great vintage Herwi nodder dog made in West Germany. He still has his original tag (see photo)! I believe he is a dachshund puppy. Measures approx. 12 inches from tip of tail to tip of nose and a little over 7 inches tall. This little doggy is in well-loved condition. He is flocked, but his \"fur\" is missing in several areas, as is a portion of the flocking that looks like it needs to be reglued. His red collar could use a glue job, as well. There is paint loss in some places. Overall, he\'s in sound shape with not breaks or cracks. I just wanted to mention his flaws if condition is of importance to you. He \"nods\" very smoothly. I purchased him from an antique store nearly 25 years ago and he was old then; I am unsure of his age. (Come to think of it, I\'m not even sure the dog is a \"he\" - I\'ve just called him that all these years! Haha!) Comes from my non-smoking home. I am downsizing my collection.
