Vintage Westclox Big Ben Wind Up Clock Style 5 Loud Alarm 1946 to 1949 Black Dial

Up for offer and for your consideration is a vintage Westclox Big Ben wind up loud alarm clock.

This clock would be great in a vintage home or to anyone who likes vintage clocks! To you Westclox clock collectors it would be a wonderful addition to your alarm clock collection!

The Details:

This Big Ben measures about 5-3/8 inches tall, 4-7/8 inches wide and about 2-1/2 inches deep including the keys.

It has a black dial with white luminous Arabic numerals, with an alarm set dial partialy over the 12 position. The face on this clock is excellent with just a slight bit of wavyness in the paper.

It has silver colored hands covered in white luminous material, much of which has fallen off.

The face is marked \"Loud Alarm\", \"Westclox\", Big Ben\" then \"Made By Westclox La Salle Ill. U.S.A\" under the 6.

The bezel and case is made of metal. The black base is made of metal also. There is only slight chipping and scratching of the black paint. The back of the case metal, also colored black. The base is highlighted by a chrome colored vertical strip.

The winder and set knobs are all present. They show a bit of surface rust.

The clock tries to run, but stops after a few seconds. The spring is wound tight. The alarm does work. Both could probably use a good cleaning and oiling.

The back of the case is marked \"Pat\'d U.S.A.-Des.114262 CAN-RD 1938, AUST-RD 19016, GT BR-RD 832610, Made in U.S.A.\"

Production years of this style of Big Ben was 1946 to 1949.

Cosmetically this clock is in really decent condition, with a little paint and polish it would be beautiful!
