Up for offer we have a rare \"pocket map\" of Wheaton, Illinois, from around 1940. Item was discovered by the seller at 1927-built home on N. West St., purchased in late 1970s from original owner.

Item measures approximately 25.25\" x 21.50.\" Folds to 7.75\" x 6.\"

Many interesting features such as the Chicago Aurora & Elgin tracks and yards, Chicago & Northwestern RR, City Park with the old swimming pool (Northside Park), Chicago Golf Club, Green Valley Country Club at the SW corner of Roosevelt and Naperville Roads, and directions to the Antlers Country Club (now Arrowhead).

Schools: Wheaton College, Longfellow, Holmes, Whittier, Lowell, and the old High School.

Roosevelt Rd. is designated US Rt. 330 (Alt. Rt. 30). It was not known as Rt. 38 until 1942.
