Here is a whistle made in England by RAWLINGS. It is the ACME Thunderer and is in near mint condition and works fine. Over the years the ACME Thunderer developed specifically for the police has been used all over the world by Police, Referees, Life Guards, and Coaches. This one is NM, been on display in my wife’s collection for many years.

It is made of nickel plated brass.

The wording on the left side around the RAWLINGS logo is “MANUFACTURERS OF HIGH GRADE ATHLETIC GOODS”.
