Vintage Wien Augarten Porcelain Plate Hand Painted 5040 Small Blue Floral:

This is a beautiful hand-painted porcelain plate made by Wien Augarten, an Austrian company started in 1718. The company logo and markings are on the bottom of the plate. The plate is about 8 7/8\" in diameter and is the small blue floral pattern #5040, which is a white background with small blue flowers on it and has a gold rim. The top of the plate has a shiny finish, while the bottom is matte. This plate is used, but in excellent condition, with a minimum of use marks. There is one spot on the bottom that has a shiny substance mark on it (see photo). Not sure if this was a manufacturer defect, but it is barely noticeable.The photos do not do justice to the flowers, which have blue flowers, green leaves and red accents. The gold trim is in mint condition, and there are no chips or cracks or other damage on this plate. Please check all photos carefully and ask any questions before offerding/ buying. Thank you.
