Vintage Wilton Armetale Embossed Medium Fruit Bowl9 ¼”

This beautiful bowl has beenin my possession since the 1980’s. It isa piece of quality; therefore it was always displayed in my home. Armetale is an aluminum based alloy that wasdesigned to look like pewter or silver but with superior properties. It is oven, freezer and food safe. Because of the age, there is a little wear onthis bowl. At one time, I stored changein it and that caused some scratches and discoloration. There is also discoloration on the bottomoutside. Please look at pictures2,6 & 8. There are pits on some of the piecesof fruit but this was from the manufacturing side. There is also a small pock mark on thebottom, please see picture1. I cannottell if it was caused during the creative process or if it was caused fromuse. Because of the age, these defectsdo nothing but bring out more character.The bowl measures 91/4”across and 2”h.This bowl was handcrafted and made right here is the USofA!
