Up for sale is this very eclecticJapanese, Mid-century Modern wood \"dice\" box / decanter set.The ox blood stainsets offthe exterior of the box. The pips are inset and look to be Lucite.
The set houses one amber glass decanter and one amber shot glass. The lid has two, sturdybrass hinges in good working order. This handsome, uniquedice box opens to reveal a center, amber glass decanterand a place for four amber glass shot glasses. Unfortunately, there is only one glass remaining. Three of the glasses are missing. These are all set into a flocked red interior.
The decanter is amber glass in a diamond pattern. It measures about 5.5 inches high with cap on and3.50 square. Itfits nicely into the flocked red center holder. The glass measures 2.25 inches tall and 1.25 diameter.
There remains evidence of the black and gold foil label on the bottom of the bottom. The bottom has scratch marks. There are minimal scratch mark on the box.The dimensions of the wood box are: 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5.
