This is a rather old and unusual wooden container. It onceheld a bottle of gold paint, but is empty now. It has a nice aged patina~ a redstain or paint on the wood.

It has its original black label. The label is hard to read, but I think itsays: Sapolin, Gold Paint, Ready Mixed Japanese, Gerstendor?er Bros. New YorkUSA The label does show signs of age andwear.

The container is all wooden even the lid. It measures approx. 4 1/2\" tall (withthe lid on) x 1 7/8\" in diameter.

Very good condition, except for two missing sectionson the inside rim. Even with the missingsections the lid still fits securely.And when the lid is on, there are no visible signs of damage. See photos
