Here is a really cute vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge East Germany Christmas ornament. It depicts two soldiers or guards standing in a circular shaved wood(a bit mishapened) open stand with a wooden base. The original label on the bottom that said \"Made in Germany East\" has long since fallen off. The golden hang string is a bit frayed, there is very minor paint loss and a bit of excess glue is noted. It\'s about 2 3/4\" tall. Purchased with other German ornaments directly from Germany last year. Age unknown, but I\'m guessing 1970\'s-1980\'s.
