Great find of an original Amico sterling submarine combat patrol insignia with 3 gold stars.The stars have zero tarnish and might be solid gold-though I have not have them tested, great age toning overall to the rest of the badge. From the estate of James R Stroup who I believe was a junior officer on the U.S.S. Seahorse. He was a life long submariner and was in the Naval reserves until the late 70\'s to the early 80\'s.
