This needlepoint cluster woman\'s bracelet was handmade in the home by aZuni artisan for useas family jewelry and pawn trade. The old unsigned piece is from the FredHarvey Era. The turquoise stones are finely cut Sleeping beauty turquoise with a black and gold matrix; there are some naturally occurring fissures and pitting from wear and time,however all are in good condition and securely seated. The bracelet is a size 7 1/4, the opening is 1 1/2 inches, which is included in the size, and it weighs66 grams (2 1/4 oz.). The center cluster measures 2 inches by 2 inches.There is a name inscribed on the back, that is not an artist stamp, that was probably engraved to show ownership.The design and craftsmanship is of the old pawn traditionused before the advent of commercialized shop production andmachine stamping. It will make a wonderfuladdition to any collection. I am not a professional seller. I collectedpieces on my many trips through the Navajo Reservation as a delivery driver1965 through the 1990\'s. I made it a point to stop for lunch breaks at tradingposts and pawn shops along the way.
