Vintage large antique WWII World War II Military MEYLAN CHRONOGRAPH pocketwatch pocket watch in a hinged back case. This watch is all original and triple signed: case, dial, and movement.
DIAL: Signed: A.R. & J.E. MEYLAN TYPE 202 AD . This dial has large black numbers, red 0 and small register with red 30 for military timing. This is a chronograph recording watch used by pilots for military maneuvers, timing bomb drops, timing torpedo firings, and other uses. The watch needs a crystal.
CASE: Caseback has NO personal engraving and NO wear through spots. Signed on the inside of the hinged caseback: MEYLAN STOPWATCH Co SWISS. Has a inner hinged dust cover.
SIZE: 50mm across. 70mm from top-to-bottom.
MOVEMENT: Well made high grade antique mechanical complicated multi-function movement. Signed: MEYLAN STOPWATCH Co SWISS SEVEN 7 JEWELS UNADJUSTED 1062300 AXJ.
CONDITION: The watch runs. It does not always re-set to 0 . Needs cleaned as it has been sitting for a very long time.
