Here is a set of two porcelain china salt and pepper shakers probably from the 1950s. One shaker has a spot of black on the back that looks as if it’s misplaced paint. The other shaker has a red paint spot on the collar (believe it was a factory flaw as the glaze seems to be over it). Another factory flaw is the smile on one has a very thin green line of paint under it, while the other doesn’t. They have some small paint rubs and other imperfections to the finish but no chips or breakage. The shakers are marked “Made in Japan on the bottom, and one of them was stamped with the markings twice. They are approximately 3 1/2” tall.
