This listing is for \"The Dorothy Carnegie Course\" folder with many small \"Personal Development/Self Improvement\" type booklets inside, such as Money Management, Guide to more intelligent clothes buying, How to carry yourself more gracefully, how to give a book review, etc. The booklets are copyrighted 1953-1961--my research shows that \"Dorothy Carnegie Course\" filed for trademark in 1965. There is a set of blue etiquette cards, numbered, but the first one is missing. The blue folder looks to be some type of paperboard, almost looks leatherette, in good condition considering its age. The folder, closed, measures 6\"x9\". There is a name written on the inside of the folder, \"Mrs. K.L. Bowton.\"
In the folder is also a card that lists what the Dale Carnegie Course will help you to do. Dale was Dorothy\'s husband and author of bestselling self improvement books. Dorothy took over her husband\'s company after his death in 1955. She created this Course as a women\'s alternative to her husband\'s businessmen-oriented course, but it never took off.
