This Vintage Ring is Huge and Absolutely Beautiful! The Amethyst is approximately 7.47 carats! Loads of Sparkle and Shine! If you are looking for a ring to make a statement, this is it! This ring has been checked and appraised by my jeweler and everything is in excellent condition, no loose stones or worn tips.
Appraisal Details: 14 Karat Yellow and White Gold Amethyst and Diamond Accent Ring
The ring is stamped 14 Karat inside of it\'s Yellow Gold Ring shank. The ring features a 14 Karat White Gold Oval shaped head setting. There are hand pierced circles going the entire way around the setting. The outer top portion of the head setting is flush set with 16 single Cut Round Diamonds each measuring approximately 1.50 mm and each weighing approximately .015 carat. All the the Diamonds combined have an approximate weight of .24 carats total weight and all are GIA color grade G/H and GIA clarity grade VS2/SI1. The center of the head setting features an eight prong crown that is set with one Oval Cut Amethyst measuring approximately 15.74 x 11.98 x 7.60 mm and weighing approximately 7.47 carats. The Amethyst is of AA quality and features a medium/dark purple color with flashes of reddish pink. The cut is good and the polish is good. NOTE: The Amethyst has abrasions on the table facet and along facet junctions near the table facet. ( please click the magnifying feature on the pictures to see these abrasions, not very visible with naked eye).The ring size is 7.25 and is sizable.
