Thisbeautiful fabric comes from the days when my mother sewed professionally for people.She made custom slip covers, drapes, bedspreads during the 40\'s & 50\'s. As a child I would dream over her sample books and thatbegan my love of fabrics. This piece has no salvages and looks like it iscut from a larger piece so I cannot identify the manufacturer. I might guess Schumacher or Waverly. It is 48\" wide by 72\" long (2 yards) It is new and the fabric looks like wool.The crewel embroidery is in good condition and the flowers measure about 6\" x 5\". It is one of the unique fabrics that I have held on to all these years but I am now 75 and I think it is time to let it go to someone who canenjoy it.I have kept it in the cedar chest all these years and it is too pretty to be hidden away. I have a pet free and smoke free home.
