I really don\'t know much about this piece. This figural ashtray has a sticker stating; made in Japan. When a cigarette is placed at this singing man\'s feet smoke will escape through his mouth. His rolled up sheet music is a match holder for stick matches. He has a patch on the top of his head for striking matches but the surface has been worn smooth.

He\'s made of bisque and could use a good cleaning but other than that this is a solid piece. There are no chips or major signs of wear. I would estimate this item to date from the 60\'s but I am not sure of that. There is some light crazing on his sheet music :)
