Vintage garnet star locket
in Victorian style |
This star locket pendant is set with genuine 52 rosecut garnets
surrounding a center round garnet measuring 0.25 inch
in a fine burgundy darkred color.
The size of the pendant is 2.0 inch high and 1.11 inch wide.
It was made in the old alloy \'Tombak\' with a 14ct-rosegoldplating
like it was usual in those days.
The length of the chain is 19 inch and could
be adjusted to every length you tell us (for free)
The chain is closed in the neck with a springring.
The weight of this necklace is 13.7 gram.
The size of the pendant can be seen on the last picture
where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with.

The garnets are set in \'Tombak\' also called
\'garnet gold\' (similar to \'Pinchbeck\') a base metal
with a 14ct-rosegoldwash like it was usual in those days.
All stones are genuine natural garnets.

German jewelry manufacturers who closed down

stock from an old garnet wholesaler to offer on .

Bohemia which is only 400 miles away.We sell three different types of jewelry
1st) what has a headline as \'Antique\' is older
than 100 years and we bought these pieces
mainly on sales here in Germany.

20 and 60 years old (post WW2) and it is
old unworn stock from former manufacturers
and wholesalers who closed down in my hometown

or \'Art-Deco style\' but it is \'Vintage\' not \'Antique\'

in Bohemia and is about 2 to 20 years old .
