Here is a beautiful but used Mordan & Co box. I recently came across it in house in New Jersey. As pictured the box is definitely in rough shape. The top of the box has four large cracks in it, some of the outer metal lining is not in alignment, the bottom insert is missing the brass key whole piece and is therefor hard to open and requires the box to be tilted and shaken, an insert in the top of the box is missing, as well as many other aesthetic issues. There are only 12 pictures on the ad, and due to policy I cannot put a link in the add. If you would like to see more pictures just send a message and I can give you a link for the album. The box could use a restoration and a polish but it is certainly beautiful. There were no keys with it when it was found. The box measures 12 x 9 x 6 1/2 inches. I am unsure as to when the box is from but some research points towards the 1800\'s. The label says \" Patent S. Mordan & Co Makers London\" Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions.
