Hello, I am selling for a friend several old and antique plucked instruments. He collected for many years. I hope you will like them. Now you are offerding on a vintage old to antique guitar lute, probably handmade in Germany (or Austria ?), a most beautiful and very interesting piece. The label at the top says \"Edelton (noble sound)\", no date, I guess it was made around 1920 to 1930. Finest woods, the top is solid spruce, the back is made of wonderful maple (13 ribs). The guitar lute is immediately playable, very good action, good sound! Needs small repair (separations).

The tuning of the guitar lute is standard: E - A - d - g - b - e.

The scalloped fretboard with 9 frets (good condition) is made of ebony, 6 frets (one is missing) at the top, 2 mop markers. Nice head (never broken), the tuners work well,the bridge is stable, the original one, also the bridge pins. Wonderful decorated soundhole, carvings (head and seam). The slim neck is perfectly straight (!) and very good playable, action 9th fret is 4 to 5mm. Older nylon strings, clear and deep sound. A very fine instrument, high quality!

Total length: 970mm, scale length: 620mm, width of the nut: 45mm, width 9th fret: 55mm, width of the body: 315mm.

Sorry, there is no case or bag.GOOD CONDITION! Signs of use and age like damages to the varnish, one hairline crack at the top, two longer separations at the back. A great item for the player or collector.
