Beautiful hat stand, made from combining old wooden objects to give them a new lease of life. In this case the base is an old candlestick combined with a densely carved wooden lid from a vintage box, possibly from Germany. Please see report and photos. At 10.5\" tall it is suitable for displaying/storing cocktail hats (please see photo) rather than broader-brimmed hats. It is quite sturdy so it could be used as a shop fitting or for selling hats online. The top measures 3.5\" across and the base measures just 4.5\". The base is slightly hollow so can be used to store small items of jewellery - see photo. Please see the other stands I have listed with various paint finishes. I will post abroad via the Global Shipping Programme but please be aware that the postage costs quoted here only cover the costs of postage from my home to the GSP Centre and that additonal costs will be imposed by to cover international shipping. I have no control over these costs. I will combine postage for UK buyers but due to size of the hat stands it may not be possible to pack more than two together or to pack them with other items.
