This Lenci 17 1/2\" tallDutch Girldoll has been in a private collection for more than 25 years and is being sold exactly as it was purchased bythat owner.I find no marks or tags on the doll or clothes. The bottom of herfeet have no marks,but some dolls were not marked, & tags are lost. I believe she is an all originalLenciSeries300according to the criteria listedon pg. 97 of Nancy Lazenby\'s book \"LENCI TheHistory and the Dolls\" and other features usually found on Lenci dolls. (Please see pics).

Darling wicker basket has felt cabbage, carrots, potatoes, & tomatoes. I foundno picture of this doll withthebasket, but I know she has had it for at least 25 years!The author states on page 90that when Lenci ran out of an accessory, it was replaced with a different one, so it maybe foundwith other dolls as well. I did see a similar dress on a Bacassine doll with a different face.

Jointed at hips, shoulders, neck, 17 1/2\" tall, fingers sewn separately except for the 2 center fingers which are sewn together.

Foot is attached separately to leg, toes are defined separately by individual stitching, leg has front & back seams with darts in calf to shape leg

Eyes side glancing,(gray blue) with a black dot pupil & 2 highlight dotsin the colored area.

Painted upper and side lashes, upper lip darker lower, or 2 pink dots on lower lip, blondemohair hairin braid attachedat center part& front edges

Double layer felt ears sewnseparately to head, \"zigzag seam\"up back of neck

Clothing: Green felt skirt & jacket have brown band trim& cuffs, ivory felt bodice with black neckband & black & red feltwaist bandare sewn together in back, jacket has fronthook/loop closure, skirt sewn together back of waistband. White batiste apron ties in back, Dutch cap is white cotton.

Underneath, ivory cotton matching half slip & pantaloons have scalloped hems. Both are held with safety pins due to old relaxed elastic in waists.

Scalloped edgetop onknit sox,wooden shoes which appear to be hand carved, some rough edges inside.

I would say this doll is in great condition,very minimal fading & perhaps dust on the jacket front (not protected from light by apron), skin tone was probablymore pink when new. No odor,one lightspot on upper rightjacket sleeve (see pic). It is not a hole, could be easilyretinted for appearance, but I would leave it as is. I find no other holes or signs of moth damage on any of the clothes, no other stains or spots. Face is pale but appears nice & clean.

I\'m sure Lenci collectors know more than I could find in this one book, so feel free to let me know if I am wrong or you need more info!
