Virginia Metalcrafters - Pair (2) Brass Colonial Williamsburg Candelabras For Sale
Up for your consideration is a matched pair of elegant solid Brass Colonial Williamsburg Candelabras made in America by Virginia Metalcrafters. They have a stainless steel center post that allows the dual serpentine arms to be raised or lowered to your preferred height. The arms also swing in or out to set the mood. Each arm has a serpent embellishment and detaches for easy cleaning.
Stamped on the bottom of each base is "Williamsburg" and the item number CW 16 - 63. The Virginia Metalcrafters mark is there, but not very well defined.
Virginia Metalcrafters, founded in 1890, was located in Waynesboro, Virginia. They signed a license with Colonial Williamsburg in 1951 to produce brass and other reproductions. They used the same hand casting and finishing methods that were used to make the original antiques.
These candelabras were both purchased at the same time, and have been in my family since the late 50‘s. They are in fine condition with no dents.
The candelabras are 15 1/2" tall and weigh about 4.5+ pounds each. The base is 5".
Please observe photos carefully, as these are the actual pair of candelabras that you will receive. Listed shipping costs are for the U.S. and usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. If you have any questions about shipping (your preference, insurance, etc...) please contact me. Thank you for looking and good luck.
