Italian luxury manufacturer Visconti honors the American Frontier with an artfully crafted Limited Edition pen from its Wild West Collection.

Using Visconti’s sophisticated scrimshaw style, Wild West imagery is beautifully rendered on the body of the pen. A cowboy on his horse, riding through the prairie, is a familiar symbol of that period in history, and here it is replicated on the ivory resin barrel of the pen. The cowboy with his lasso held high and his steed are amazingly detailed, thanks to Visconti’s artisans and their hard-earned scrimshaw techniques. Visconti’s familiar logo, normally seen on the clip is here replaced with the words “Wild West” in a font type recalling a typical Western saloon. All other components of the pen are inspired by the same era. Leather was used to wrap the pen’s cap, hot embossed in the style of a cowboy\'s saddle and boots. The blind cap features two revolvers whose barrels cross, and the pen\'s plunger is decorated with a sheriff’s star. All the trim on the pen is made of aged sterling silver to recall Silverton, Colorado, the famous mining camp.

This pen comes in a decorative wooden box crafted from American walnut, the top of the box is made from the same leather as the pen and includes a scrolled certificate of authenticity indicating it numbered #90 in a Limited Edition of 388. A velvet pouch is also included for storing and protecting the box. The pen retails at $2,650.
