$265.00

Please take alook at this darling 1952 Vogue Strung Ginny with her original, auburn wig in thick braids and curly side-swept bangs. This sweet doll has no cracks, splits, odors or missing fingers. She has rich coloring with \"fevered\" cheeks (no rubs), a red rosebud mouth and auburn, lightly painted brows and eyelashes (just starting to show a slight olive tinge) to frame her blue eyes that work to sleep with your gentle assistance. This doll has had no touch ups or re-paints! Ginny is appropriately marked \"Vogue Doll\" on her back and \"Vogue\" on her neck. This little sweetheart\'s arms are tightly strung, she can stand on her own,and can hold allposes! She has an even body color that matches her face, and has an overall very appealing look to her.

She will come to you in her original 1952 tagged \"Vogue\" \"Edie\" # 52 outfit from the Square Dancer series. It is a long, green cotton print suspender dress with pink rick rack trim and shadow-striped organdy bodice with pink satin bow at the neck. The dress is lined with ecru lawn to give it body, and still retains her original ecru lawn bloomers with good elastic. She wears ecru socks and hand-made, replaced black oilcloth center-snap shoes, and retains her original pink satin hair ribbons at the end of her braids (show fraying on the ends).

You may view a similar doll in this exact outfit on page 106 of the Izen and Stover book, The Collectors Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, second edition, purple cover.
