In 1964, Comedian and Civil Rights Activist,

Dick Gregory, became publically active against

the Viet Nam War, economic reforms, anti-drug

and other issues. On 1968, he became a write-in

candidate of the Freedom and Peace Party which

had broken off from the Peace and Freedom Party.

He got 47,097 votes.

The button is in excellent condition with no damage

or discoloration. Slight rusting on the metal back.
