Vtg 1920\'s ~ 30\'s Real Photo Pictures S.S. North & South American Liners Tourism...This sale consists of 8 different \' Real Photo Pictures / Scenes \' aboard either the S.S. North American or S.S. South American Steamships. The S.S. North American was launched in 1913 with the S.S. South American launched the following year 1914. Both steamships were an essential part of the transportation infrastructure of the Great Lakes in their early years. Both vessels advertised weeklong cruises through the upper Great Lakes, with the South American traditionally visiting Lake Superior and the North American taking the Lake Michigan run. The photo of the dining room has the lower left corner creased with the remaining pictures in near perfect condition! Backsides of photo\'s are blank. Photo cards all measure 4 1/2\" x 6\". Fantastic pictures for any vintage historical transportation / tourism collection! Look at pictures and please ask any questions.
