This necklace is unique for its full profile, its Victorian influenced design and the cut and quality of the crystal beads. The glass beads range in size with the largest beads in front measuring 1/2\" in diameter. The crystals have faceting all the way around the bead so they have a lot of light and refraction. The festoon\'s beads dangle freely so the necklace has a lot of movement and sway when worn. The necklace appears to be on its original strand which is a fine silver chain and the way that the beads combine with caps - my estimation is that this piece was made in France. The setting has a very bright and golden patina with very little darkening or discoloration. Overall this is a finely designed and well made, Victorian revival crystal festoon necklace, that was most likely made in France during the 1930\'s and is in Excellent condition.
